The fried green tomatoes were amazing! Best I ever had.

I come here every-now-and then to try different menu items.I ordered the boiled shrimp as featured below. I enjoyed it. It will fill you up FAST because they use jumbo shrimp (butterflied in preparation).I would have preferred the medium-size shrimp in my order (which is how boiled shrimp is most commonly served), but the shrimp were well-seasoned none-the-less. It is a FEAT to eat boiled jumbo shrimp as an entree, so I won't be ordering this again. The cup of gumbo went down really well. The roux is a lot darker than I am used to, but it was well-seasoned and had ample chicken and sausage in the cup serving.The garlic bread is not that tasty unless you want garlic bread that tastes like it was used to wipe the grill clean of a misc. group of ingredients that were cooked on it.The condiments are awesome--every sauce is of concentrate. 👍 Our waitress was very nice and the hostess did a great job welcoming folks in and trying to find locations to accommodate all.

Good food and service

The food is very delicious and the servers are very nice and jolly. The only thing I didn't enjoy is being sat a wobbling table and drinks spilled us every time the table moved. Their food is absolutely great. Anyone who hasn't tried it is really missing out

I love this place! They offer superb meals, their menu is rich, The chef in that place is very experienced, I love very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are consistently of high qualtity, the service towards the clients is helpful. I go often to this place and I not even once was discontended. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Service was great! We came when there was a very long line, but they got us seated quickly. The food was good but dirty rice would have been better in the etouffee.

Been here before and had to come back. Had the fried catfish and it was delicious. Waitress was very nice and attentive.

Enjoyed our stop here. Passing through on our way to NOLA and this was a great start to a week of Cajun cuisine. We'll remember this place and stop again. Good service too!

The restaurant closes at 2 pm I arrived about 1;15 i ordered a fish and shrimp plate and my guest ordered bbq shrimp It was friend in burnt grease and the shrimp was awful

The food and service were beyond my expectations. I really enjoyed the vibes of this place. Extraordinary place to take my family out for lunch.

Friends gave us a gift certificate to Crawfish House and Grill as a Christmas gift. We'd never come here before, so this gave us an opportunity to try them out. We invited a couple of friends to eat with us. The food was really good for all of us. A little packed and noisy, but the food was good and so was the wait staff. Quite pleased.

Great food and service, although our poor waitress was struggling to keep up with all the customers during lunch. I've eaten here many times and never had anything that was not delicious. Other than possibly picking a different time of day to eat, I have absolutely no qualms about returning here.

We stopped here while traveling. What a great find. Between us we had Gumbo, oysters, Shrimp,Fried Mushrooms, Shrimp salad! All were as good as it gets. We live on the Alabama gulf coast and are use to very fresh seafood and these guys had fantastic seafood. We will stop here when we travel near this area again. Great Place!

I've never had boiled crawfish cooked like they do here. They boil the crawfish then sprinkle a Cajun seasoning mix on the top of them. So basically if you washed the crawfish off they would have very little if any flavor. I don't know maybe it's because I'm from East of here but that's not how we boil crawfish. The crawfish end up edible but not that great to be honest. Like I love to suck the heads and that's basically impossible with these crawfish as you end up with so much seasoning on your lips they burn for a week.I like spicy crawfish but not like this.Otherwise the rest of the food people got was good I'm told and the service was great as well.

If you want real-deal Cajun food, *this* is the place.Locally-owned-and-operated, "Mom-and-Pop" place.Barry and Rhonda are long time restauranteurs who know how to take care of folks.*Great* food. Generous portions. Reasonable prices. Very good service. Casual atmosphere.

The best place is the best place eat in Opelousas. Located in the center of everything. This food is always great no matter what I've ordered.

The food was excellent, the service was great, the beer was super cold and the atmosphere was wonderful. The quality of the seafood on my platter was the best I've had. Definitely a do again

Tried to place an order to go and couldnt even get past the RUDENESS! Thank God we have other restraunts still in Opelousas that believe in being polite to customers! Soileaus it is!

Great food.

Service is very good and the food was delicious. My only complain is that we arrived at 11:00 A.M. right when they opened. We spent 10 minutes looking at the menu then spent the next 50-55 minutes waiting for our food to be served.

First time eating here and all I can say is wow! Best bisque I have eaten in a while. Only downfall is it is a little pricey. Well worth the visit. Wait staff is awesome.

Walked in at 1:35 on Sunday, not realizing they closed at 2:00, amazing service with no hesitation Ordered the Oysters Ponchatrain and it was fabulous! Huge portion, very well cooked and seasoned, wonderful! Thank you for such a great experience!

Disappointed that they didn't have a crawfish boil, but the service and Swamp Chips made up for it. Our server was so friendly and awesome, and this was a fun little place. Great prices, great flavor.

They had some chicken and sausage lunch special that I can't pronounce that was delicious as well. Service was excellent! Decently priced too. We'll make special trips from Shreveport just for this!!

GGreat food, atmosphere & service!

Fried shrimp and oysters were fine. BBQ shrimp were beautiful shrimp ruined with a bath of BBQ sauce...no description in menu. Waitress offered something else, but no time to wait.

I hate posting negative reviews, especially when I actually like the place. I eat at Crawfish House and Grill regularly for lunch M-F. I love the food there. I have a regular server that I request each time — she’s great. However, tonight I am so very disappointed — we drove from Baton Rouge to eat there and arrived at 8:15 pm. There was a server who was walking around that informed us they were closed. Business was slow so they decided to close early. Mind you, the hours on the door state that they close at 9:00 pm. I guess I should have called in advance to make sure business was good enough that they’d still be open when we got there.... Oh well, I won’t be eating there as much or if all. Not staying open that extra 45 minutes cost them a very good customer.

100% legit. From out of state and it hit the spot. I would spot here if you are hungry for some good food!
